Texas 9th Court of Appeals Chief Justice Candidate Meyer Named Fellow by Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
The Woodlands, - The Law Firm of Chuck Meyer, PLLC, of The Woodlands, Texas, is proud to announce that its founder, and managing member of the firm, Charles B. “Chuck” Meyer, has been named a fellow by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). This recognition is the highest grade of membership offered by the CIArb, and it demonstrates a commitment to achieving the highest levels of knowledge, skills, and behavior in dispute avoidance and dispute management.
Meyer is currently an Assistant District Attorney for Appeals and Writs for Hardin County, as well as counsel to startup, entrepreneurial businesses. He is one of five candidates in the race to be the next Chief Justice of the 9th Court of Appeals, and the only candidate with this distinction. Meyer is also a Registered Patent Attorney and a member of the Texas Bar College. He received his J.D. from American University and by the University of Oxford, England, he was awarded a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL), which is Oxford’s world-renowned taught Master of Laws Program. He also has an M.S. from George Washington University, and a B.S in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
